A Search for CP(T) Violation in B Decays at OPAL

CP violation in the B-meson system has generated considerable experimental and theoretical interest, as potentially large e ects are expected. Searches for CP(T) violation using the small sample of Z ! b b decays at the LEP collider at CERN provide \proofs of principle" for analysis techniques which will be employed by future B-Factory experiments. Indirect CP violation is possible in the B system provided the weak eigenstates B and B di er from the mass eigenstates B1 and B2:
